Feeling a little better, but having to take med's to do so. Still not sleeping enough, but its a bit better than it was. Just trying to stay busy around the house while I am getting slowly better.
Dad and Mom are coming to visit this week, and I'm happy about that, we need their support
right now, and I miss them. Amber is doing a bit better as well, thank God!

  1. Hi Jen,

I was just reading your blog and I was wondering if taking the Deplin when you didn't really need it might have caused a vitamin B12 deficiency. As you probably know, Deplin is L-methyfolate, which is the bioactive form of folic acid. One tablet of Deplin contains 7.5 mg of L-methyfolate, which is far, far more than the RDA for folic acid. If you were not deficient in folic acid, it's possible taking it induced a deficiency in B12 and/or the other B vitamins. Jarrows makes a very good methylcobalamin (the bioactive form of B12) supplement. You could try it perhaps along with B-complex and see if it helps. iherb.com has a very good price on the Jarrows Methyl-B12. B12 deficiency can cause neurological symptoms as well as mental/emotional ones. I am not a doctor so you will have to use your own judgment about whether you think this might help. Good luck. I can sympathize with how difficult it is when you're thrown all out of whack.
